Sarah Seaton,
M.S., Resident in Counseling

Sarah is a Resident in Counseling for the Commonwealth of Virginia and a pre-licensed clinician in the state of Kansas. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals during the seasons of life that feel uncertain, tender, or transformative. Her passion for accompaniment was shaped through years of working closely with young adults in a college setting, where she witnessed both the courage it takes to seek support and the deep value of receiving care during the formative years of emerging adulthood.

Sarah is especially passionate about working with high school students, college students, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, shame, or trauma. Within sessions, she draws from both emotion-focused and cognitive theories to thoughtfully tailor care to each client’s unique story. Her work often balances emotional exploration with practical tools, supporting deeper self-understanding while empowering clients to respond to life’s challenges with both intention and self-compassion.
