How Maggie Approaches Therapy
Maggie became a therapist out of a deep love for people, psychology, and faith. She especially enjoys working with curious, driven clients who want to understand how their minds work and who often ask “why” and “how” along the way. In therapy, she helps turn that curiosity into meaningful, lasting change.
In sessions, her focus is on building insight that guides actions, thoughts, and emotions towards a lifestyle built on values. Maggie will work with you to explore the history of your concerns, set healthy goals, and identify the values that shape who you are made to be in the light of Christ.
Working together means restoring who you were made to be
It matters deeply to me that you are able to leave therapy feeling empowered, excited, and above all, hopeful. That's my goal for you.
Truth
You can trust that all our work is rooted in truth, and that I will always be honest with you.
Compassion
You deserve to feel heard, and it's my priority to provide this with warmth & understanding.
Commitment
Your work here is no small feat. I will walk with you every step of the way.
Humor
A little laughter can lighten the load. I'm here to help bring back the joy and hope, too.
It's okay—and normal—to feel unsure about therapy
We understand that pursuing counseling is a leap of faith. Your mental and emotional struggles may be brand new, or maybe they've been around as long as you can remember. Either way, it can be hard to believe in what Catholic counseling can offer and put yourself out there.
No matter your past, your future is full of hope for something better. At Ora et Labora Catholic Counseling, we are committed to you wherever you are starting. We believe that you can begin again anytime, and we're here to help you believe that, too.
