When Certain Memories Still Feel Too Close

You may feel emotionally triggered or overwhelmed by reminders of past events. It may feel like you're immersed in or stuck by where you've been, and it's keeping you from growing into who you want to be today.

If this feels familiar, your body is remembering old events in ways it doesn't need to anymore — and you don't need to stay in this pattern.

What Is EMDR?

EMDR helps the brain reprocess difficult memories so they no longer feel emotionally overwhelming. We understand how vulnerable this work can feel. EMDR is guided with care, pacing, and respect for your faith and readiness.

This tool utilizes eye movement (EM) to activate processing of old memories in new ways, allowing you to experience desensitization (D) of painful responses and reprocessing (R) with new insights and perspectives.
