Counseling That Meets You Where You Are

The right setting for counseling is different for everyone.

Some clients appreciate the connection of meeting with a therapist face-to-face. Others prefer the convenience and privacy of meeting from home. Our practice offers both options so that you can choose the setting that best fits your circumstances.

Regardless of location, our goal remains the same: to provide thoughtful, professional care that recognizes the dignity and complexity of the whole person.

A Faith-Informed Approach

Ora et Labora Catholic Counseling was founded with a particular commitment to serving clients who desire counseling that is compatible with and respectful of their Catholic faith while also providing options for individuals both near and far, increasing accessibility to faith-based counseling throughout Virginia and Maryland.

Our clinicians can incorporate your faith, values, and worldview into the counseling process when you desire it. This may include consideration of prayer, vocation, relationships, moral concerns, suffering, uncertainty, and other aspects of your spiritual life.

At the same time, you do not need to be Catholic to work with us. We welcome clients from all faith backgrounds and seek to meet each person with respect and compassion.
